Challenge
- Automotive shoppers may begin with a category, a product search, or year-make-model fitment information.
- A broad category system needs to remain scannable without overwhelming the mobile header.
- Vehicle selection and shopping controls need to stay usable across very different viewport widths.
Solution
- Made category navigation, search, account, product comparison, and cart controls prominent on desktop.
- Placed the year-make-model finder directly beside the primary merchandising area.
- Recomposed the storefront on mobile around compact navigation, vehicle selection, and catalog content.
Outcome
- The live Shopify storefront supports category, search, and vehicle-led discovery.
- Desktop and mobile layouts retain access to the vehicle finder and shopping controls.
- The case study documents the shipped catalog experience without unsupported commerce metrics.
